STORY

Sage Roots Cocktail was formed in 2022 between partners in the culinary and event industry with the vision of elevating the cocktail scene in Bryan and College Station Texas. We share a commitment for crafting cocktails that celebrate fresh produce and seasonal ingredients, and creating beverage programs that leave a lasting impression at every event.

Within a year we have ventured into event management and consulting services, gracefully executing unique events in our area. From elegant weddings to grand openings and large-scale public spectacles, the company's portfolio of clients has grown, including businesses and events with The Pearl San Antonio, BODY20, Aggieland Outfitters, The Barn BCS, Hummingbird Hill, and The Vibe Market. Although rooted in College Station Texas, Sage Root's ever-voyaging team traverses the state, lending our magic touch to transform ordinary occasions into extraordinary memories.

When not shaking up for audiences at events, the Sage Roots team finds solace in the warm embrace of their community, savoring libations at the beloved local hotspots we hold dear.

OUR BEVERAGE

PROGRAMS

We drew inspiration from four thieves vinegar or thieve's oil, a medieval tonic used to ward off illness. This cure-all would often be a secret recipe that blends wine, sage, and ginger root.

Our cocktails promote the same spirit of healthy and invigorating elixirs by blending all our cocktails with fresh and seasonal ingredients. No preservatives or additives, just fresh hand pressed ingredients.

Valeria May is the Director of Brand Partnerships for Sage Roots Cocktail and Co Owner. Since 2022, she has played a crucial role in expanding our reach to different parts of our state and has maintained our relationships with venues and several brands. She is a passionate photographer and with her network has continued to expand our reach to new ventures.

Armando Salazar

Director of Operations/CoOwner

Armando Salazar is the Director of Operations and Co Owner of Sage Roots Cocktail. Since 2022 he has been overseeing the execution of all our beverage programs and has helped in expanding our services for events and brand companies. Armando hails from Tijuana Mexico and San Diego California. Since moving to Texas he has been involved in the event and wedding industry and continues to love every aspect of the profession.

VP of Sales/CoOwner

Perla Salazar is the VP of sales and Co-Ownerof Sage Roots Cocktail. She took on sales and communications for the group and was named VP of Sales in 2023. Perla has lived in Tijuana Mexico for the first years of her life before she moved to San Diego to start and operate her own clothing and makeup brand. After selling her company she moved to Texas and began her career in the wedding and event industry.

Matt Camp is the founder of Sage Roots Cocktail. Since operating his first event, under Sage Roots Cocktail Company, in 2022, he has been expanding the concept to consulting and executing large event programs. With his culinary and mixology background he leads Sage Roots' beverage programs for venues and events around Texas
